Who handles it...that is, makes it all work managing the details?

 

For the "Club"...


Generally, one person out of the Club’s group will take an interest in the administrative details.  He is elected as an LLC Manager until the project is completed, or until the individual members decide to elect another LLC Manager.  There is enormous support of the LLC Manager during the term of the loan to insure all administrative and legal procedures are proper and appropriate.

Andrew J. Monaghan, Sr. – Principal Owner and LLC Manager


A 1966 graduate of the University of Notre Dame, Mr. Monaghan interned at the Boeing Company and later became a senior consultant to the general management of Westinghouse Power Systems Company involving new business development opportunities in domestic markets as well as projects in Europe, Russia, China, Japan, Saudi Arabia, and Latin America.


In 1975, Mr. Monaghan started his own new business development consulting practice under the name of drew incorporated - consultants , which pursued assignments covering 15 industries, including Real Estate Development, Construction, Marketing and Finance. Most notable among his clients are General Electric, Westinghouse, Gulf Oil (Chevron), Sumitomo, and Loral Federal Systems.


Mike Ellis - Builder


Thirty-year history of custom and production residential and commercial / industrial construction. Has supervised as many as 25 custom residential home construction in one year. His company, Euclid Custom Homes, maintains a Class A Builder's license with no negative remarks since its inception in 1976. Holds excellent reputation among Colorado Custom Home Builders and Architects.


Dennis R. Miller - Project Manager


Twenty-nine years in construction management. Most recent ‘large' assignment was as the construction superintendent of the entire interior of the new Invesco at Mile High stadium for the Bronco football team in Denver. Prior to that he was the Construction Supervisor for Coors Brewing Company for over 21 years.

John Buss - Architect (Advisor)


Internationally acclaimed designer/developer of very high-end, high-rise building complexes. Most notable is the Hotel W chain in the USA and Europe. His Hotel W building in San Francisco won him the Best in Architecture award in 2000.


Magid Derakhshandeh (Advisor)


Construction Superintendent, Colorado State Department of Transportation in charge of road and bridge construction for the past 28 years. Among many credits, he supervised construction of the overpass bridge at I-70 and Wadsworth (Denver). He acts in an advisory capacity to projects until he retires from the State. Mr. Derakhshandeh's responsibilities are in the areas of concrete batch plant, infrastructure development, foundations, retaining walls, geotechnical and environmental matters.


How many other projects have the managers been involved with?


Since 1967, the LLC Manager, Andrew J. Monaghan, Sr. , has been involved with numerous small real estate properties and from 1995 trough the present time he has “saved” 3 major land development projects ( Colorado Investors - 100+ Single Family Residences (SFEs), Santa Fe Trails - 92 Town Homes and 148 SFEs, and Timothy's Run - 20 Condos) under a pre-amble of the current “Bank Concept” Program. The major projects were turnaround residential development assignments from clients of drew, incorporated, his 32-year-old business development consulting firm.


Another manager, Mike Ellis , runs a 35-year old family-owned residential construction business that completed numerous Colorado housing projects in Larkspur, Parker, Elizabeth, Dillon, Conifer, Aurora, Denver and elsewhere in Colorado covering every type of residential housing from Condos to Town Homes to high-end custom homes.


One project manager for the company, Dennis Miller , was Superintendent of Construction for the Invesco at Mile High stadium for the Denver Broncos in 2002-2003.


The firm's operations manager, Joe Rippetoe , developed, supervised construction and managed the pilot European U.S. Government Leased Properties in Sandhausen, West Germany for the U.S. Government. Properties consisted of six (6) high-rise structures, each twelve (12) stories high with family living quarters consisting of two (2) and three (3) bedroom accommodations for 144 families. Once served as a Board member of Master Board for Lake Crest Properties, a Denver Property Management Group that currently manages well over 200 residential properties.
